Supports for trees and shrubs
As part of our commitment to adapting to customer needs, INVERAMEL offers different types of supports for both traditional crops and emerging new crops. Among the latter are stakes for pitahaya, for hops, and for pomegranate.
At Inveramel, we are aware of the specific needs that each customer and project has. That’s why we are always willing to listen to you and try to contribute our knowledge to achieve the best result together.
Pitahaya support:
Pitahaya or dragon fruit is a plant native to America, but its cultivation has also spread to various parts of the Spanish geography. It is a herbaceous climbing plant with adventitious roots and needs the support of a stake to develop.
Pomegranate support:
The pomegranate is a shrub with very dispersed and weak branches in its early stages of growth, so it needs supports to help it bear the weight of the fruits. Furthermore, the pomegranate is a fruit that in its final stage of ripening is sensitive to the sun, so its pruning and staking should favor natural protection.
Trellis structure for hops:
Hops are a herbaceous climbing plant that in the wild progresses on trees and shrubs. This is why the cultivation requires stakes.
