Supports for trees and shrubs
As part of our commitment to adapting to customer needs, INVERAMEL offers different types of supports for both traditional crops and emerging new crops. Among the latter are stakes for pitahaya, for hops, and for pomegranate.
At Inveramel, we are aware of the specific needs that each client and project entails. That’s why we’re always ready to listen and aim to contribute our expertise to achieve the best outcome together.
Pitahaya Support:
The pitahaya or dragon fruit is a plant native to America, but its cultivation has also spread to various locations in Spanish geography. It is a climbing herbaceous plant with adventitious roots and requires the support of a tutor to grow.
Support for pomegranate tree:
The pomegranate is a shrub with very scattered and weak branching in its early growth stages, thus requiring supports to help bear the weight of its fruits. On the other hand, the pomegranate is a fruit that, in its final stage of ripening, is sensitive to the sun, so its pruning and tutoring should favor natural protection.
Trellis structure for hops:
The hop is a climbing herbaceous plant that, in its wild state, progresses through trees and shrubs. That’s why its cultivation requires some tutors.
